The New Brunswick Health Council (NBHC) has recently completed the third and final phase of: Our Health. Our Perspectives. Our Solutions., for a total of nine dialogue sessions across the province. This initiative brought citizens and stakeholders together to discuss important elements of a citizen centered health system by sharing and respecting each other’s perspectives while working to establish common ground.
The NBHC wishes to thank everyone who has taken the time to attend one, two or all three of the sessions or for leaving their on-line comments. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the information we received in the first two phases, and from what we have seen and heard so far, Phase lll will not disappoint us either.
Over the summer months, NBHC staff will be analysing the data we have collected. Following that, we will prepare a report outlining what we have heard. This report will be placed on the NBHC website for all New Brunswickers to read. The NBHC will leverage these important perspectives on many fronts as we make ongoing recommendations to the Minister of Health on various aspects touching the health system.
