Dr. Meghan A. Richards is a Clinical Psychologist at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, working with inpatients and outpatients in the areas of Mental Health and Rehabilitation. She is also a Clinical Associate the University of New Brunswick. In 2012 she received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, ON. Prior to her work at the Chalmers, she was a Clinical Psychologist at Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB and the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation in Fredericton.
In addition to supervising interns and doctoral students, Dr. Richards has published in the Journal of Addiction Research and Therapy and the Journal of Adolescence. Her research interests include the relationship of biological rhythms on thinking, feeling and behaviour and how they can impact psychosocial functioning. She is a member of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS).
